Role Overview

We are looking for a senior Finance leader to head the overall Finance & Accounts function for the India business, covering both Corporate and Plant Finance.

The incumbent will be a key member of the leadership team and will work closely with the Managing Director and senior management on financial strategy, business performance, profitability, working capital, compliance and overall financial governance.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the overall Finance & Accounts function across Corporate and Plant operations.
- Partner with the MD and management team on business strategy, financial planning and decision-making.
- Drive annual budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and management reporting.
- Provide insights on business performance, profitability, costs and margins and recommend corrective actions.
- Oversee plant finance, costing, inventory, working capital and manufacturing-related financial controls.
- Manage cash flow, treasury, working capital and liquidity.
- Ensure robust financial controls, accounting practices and internal controls across the organization.
- Oversee statutory, tax, audit and regulatory compliance.
- Lead and coordinate internal and external audits.
- Work closely with the business and operations teams on cost optimization and profitability improvement.
- Oversee MIS and financial reporting for the India business and ensure timely and accurate reporting to management and the MNC parent.
- Manage relationships with banks, auditors, tax authorities, consultants and other external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with Indian accounting standards,



taxation and applicable statutory requirements.
- Lead, develop and strengthen the Finance team across Corporate and Plant locations.
- Support the MD and leadership team on business cases, investments, capital expenditure and strategic initiatives.
- Ensure alignment of the India Finance function with MNC / global finance policies, processes and governance requirements.

Candidate Profile

- Qualified CA with strong post-qualification experience.
- Typically 15+ years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience handling both Corporate and Plant Finance is highly desirable.

- Should have faced Audit under Big 4 Audit firms

- Should have previously headed the overall Finance function of a manufacturing business, preferably with direct reporting to the MD / CEO / Business Head.
- Strong experience in FP&A;, budgeting, costing, MIS, working capital, treasury, taxation, audit and financial controls.
- Experience working in an MNC / multinational manufacturing workplace would be a MUST

- Strong exposure to SAP HANA systems, financial reporting and corporate governance.

- Robust business partnering and commercial acumen, with the ability to work closely with the MD and senior management.
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
