nKey Responsibilities

n

nInstall, configure and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, scanners and other IT hardware.

nProvide hardware and software troubleshooting and technical support to employees.

nManage and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, switches, routers, firewalls and network infrastructure.

nMonitor network connectivity and resolve issues related to Internet, LAN/Wi-Fi, VPN and server connectivity.

nConfigure and maintain IP addressing, DHCP, DNS and basic network services.

nMaintain and troubleshoot Windows operating systems, MS Office and other business applications.

nManage user accounts, access rights and permissions as per company requirements.

nSupport CCTV, biometric/access-control systems, attendance systems and other IT-enabled devices, where required.

nCoordinate with Internet Service Providers, hardware vendors and AMC/service providers for technical issues.

nMaintain proper records of IT assets, hardware inventory, software licenses and network equipment.

nPerform regular backup, system updates, antivirus/security checks and preventive maintenance.





nAssist in installation and maintenance of IT infrastructure at office and plant locations.

nEnsure minimum downtime by responding promptly to IT/network-related incidents.

nMaintain documentation of network architecture, IP allocation, hardware and troubleshooting activities.

nSupport implementation of IT security policies and basic cybersecurity practices.

nCoordinate with the central IT team for system upgrades, network expansion and new installations.

nRequired Technical Skills

n

nStrong knowledge of Computer Hardware & Troubleshooting

nGood understanding of LAN/WAN and TCP/IP

nHands-on experience with Routers, Switches, Wi-Fi and Firewalls

nKnowledge of Windows 10/11 and Windows Server

nBasic knowledge of Active Directory, DNS and DHCP

nKnowledge of VPN and remote troubleshooting

nExperience with printer, scanner and peripheral configuration

nKnowledge of network cabling, patch panels and structured networking

nBasic understanding of IT security, antivirus and endpoint protection

nGood troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

nPreferred

nExperience in a manufacturing/industrial organization or multi-location company

nExperience supporting plant/factory IT infrastructure

nKnowledge of ERP/business applications and user support

nKnowledge of CCTV, biometric and access-control systems

nExperience coordinating with vendors and AMC partners

nCertifications such as CCNA, CompTIA A+ / Network+ or Microsoft certifications would be an advantage.
