Role & responsibilities

- Maternal & Obstetric Care: Provide comprehensive prenatal, natal, and postnatal care; manage high-risk pregnancies and obstetric emergencies.

- Surgical Procedures: Perform routine and emergency gynaecological surgeries and minor procedures independently.

- OPD Consultations: Diagnose and treat a variety of gynaecological disorders, reproductive health issues, and family planning needs.

- Patient Advocacy: Provide empathetic counselling regarding women's reproductive health and hygiene in the local community.

- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor mid-level healthcare providers, midwives, and nursing teams in the labor room and wards

Preferred candidate profile

- Education: MS or MD in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from a recognized institute.
- Gender: Female candidates only.
- Experience: 5 years of post-qualification experience in obstetrics and gynaecology.
- Age: Less than 45 years.
- Location Comfort: Must be comfortable living and working in a remote, high-altitude location (Sholtu, Kinnaur, Himachal Pradesh).
