Company Description:
Hindustani Tongue is a language learning platform dedicated to teaching Indian languages in an engaging and practical way for learners of all ages. The platform emphasizes helping learners start speaking from the very first day, focusing on real-life communication rather than memorizing extensive grammatical rules. Using an “immersion method” of language learning, Hindustani Tongue incorporates pictures and scenarios from everyday life to support learning through visualization and observation.
This approach mirrors how people naturally acquire their mother tongue, creating a more intuitive and enjoyable learning experience for learners worldwide.
Role Description:
The Gujarati Tutor will deliver online Gujarati lessons to learners of different ages and proficiency levels using Hindustani Tongue’s immersion-based methodology. Day-to-day tasks include planning and conducting interactive virtual sessions, explaining vocabulary and expressions through real-life scenarios and visual aids, and encouraging learners to speak Gujarati from the first lesson. The tutor will monitor learner progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
The role also involves preparing lesson materials, maintaining learner engagement, and collaborating with the platform team to improve content and teaching practices. This is a part-time, remote role, offering flexible scheduling within agreed teaching hours.
