Compensation: INR 24.00 to INR 35.00 LPA, based on fit and experience

About Role

We are hiring a Group Leader - Architecture Practice for a reputed design-led architecture and interior design practice based in New Delhi.

This is a senior leadership role for an architect who can lead projects, guide teams, work closely with Partners, handle clients maturely, and bring design, execution, and people leadership together.

The role is not limited to design delivery. It requires someone who can own a group, build team clarity, manage project priorities, and contribute to the long-term strength of the practice.

What You'll Own

- Lead an architecture group across concept, design development, documentation, consultant coordination, and site delivery.
- Manage 5 to 6 active projects at a time, across hospitality, selective residences, clubhouses, amenity blocks, and mixed-use developments.
- Work closely with Partners on project priorities, design reviews, client expectations, and team performance.
- Manage client and consultant communication with maturity, clarity, and accountability.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of approximately 7 to 15 architects and designers.
- Coordinate with engineering, services, structural, MEP, landscape, and other consultants.
- Understand project contracts, milestones, billing dependencies, time implications, and scope creep.
- Identify risks early and create practical plans before they become client, team, or commercial escalations.
- Build a clear, supportive, and accountable team rhythm.
- Contribute to group-level planning, team bandwidth management, and project profitability awareness.

What We're Looking For

- 12-18 years of experience in architecture, with strong design, execution, client, and team leadership depth.
- Strong design judgment; able to generate, evaluate,



and advance ideas rather than only execute instructions.
- Genuine prior team leadership experience, not just senior individual-contributor time.
- Ability to lead 7 to 15 people over time, through delegation, review, and mentoring.
- Robust client-facing communication and trust-building.
- Experience managing multiple complex projects in parallel.
- Comfort working in a Partner-led studio structure, with trust, humility, and independent judgment.
- Commercial awareness: understands time, scope, milestones, billing, and profitability implications.
- High emotional intelligence and calm under ambiguity, pressure, and multi-project load.
- Long-term orientation towards leadership, not just a senior designation.

Good to Have

- Hotel / hospitality architecture experience.
- Clubhouse, workspace, commercial, or complex mixed-use project experience.
- Experience in a structured architecture or design-led practice.
- Ability to manage larger groups of 12 to 15 people.
