About The Role

Trust isnt a feature you bolt at the end; its built on one policy, one control, one audit at a time, long before a client ever asks, "are you compliant" At Millipixels, thats you.

Youre the person who takes standards like ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR and turns them into something the whole company can actually live by across HR, IT, AI, and data management, not just tucked away in a security silo. You know that a governance framework only works if its woven into how people actually work, so you dont just write the policy; you make sure product, legal, HR, and IT all understand why it exists and how to follow it.

Youll move fluidly between leading an internal audit, coordinating with an external certifying body, and sitting down with the product team to talk through what "compliant by design" looks like for our GRC product, Veriquent. And as AI becomes part of how we build, youre the one making sure its built on the right guardrails too.

Youll Be The Person Who

- Builds the Framework: Develops, implements, and maintains GRC policies, procedures, and frameworks aligned with regulatory and industry standards.
- Drives Governance Company-Wide: Leads governance efforts across Human Resources, Data Management, AI, and Information Security, so compliance and risk practices feel consistent everywhere, not just where its convenient.
- Watches the Risk Landscape: Monitors and assesses enterprise risks, making sure the right controls are in place and reviewed regularly for effectiveness.
- Leads the Internal Audit:



Runs internal audits and risk assessments against internal policy and external requirements (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR), and owns the remediation plan when gaps show up.
- Owns External Certification: Coordinates third-party audits and accreditation efforts (like ISO 27001 certification), guides the rollout of required controls, and manages how we respond to findings and corrective actions.
- Builds a Culture of Compliance: Supports and delivers security awareness and compliance training so risk-thinking becomes second nature, not a once-a-year checkbox.
- Works Across the Table: Partners closely with Product, HR, Legal, and IT/Security to embed GRC thinking into projects and processes from the start, not bolted on afterward.
- Is the Voice of GRC on Veriquent: Serves as the subject matter expert for Veriquent, our GRC product, advising the product team on what compliance-ready actually looks like for our clients.
- Shapes AI Governance: Develops and integrates AI governance policies, setting up controls for ethical AI use that keep pace with emerging regulation.
- Keeps the Toolkit Running: Maintains and leverages GRC platforms and tools to track controls, incidents, and remediation and keeps it all well-documented, not scattered across spreadsheets.
- Never Stops Learning the Landscape: Stays current on emerging regulatory requirements and GRC trends, especially in data privacy and AI governance and uses that to keep sharpening our programs.

Is This You
- You have a Bachelors degree in Information Security, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field, plus 5+ years in GRC, compliance, or risk management, ideally in tech or another highly regulated industry.




- You know your way around governance and compliance frameworks- ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA - well enough to interpret them and actually apply them inside a real organisation, not just cite them.
- Youve worked with GRC platforms or tools (RSA Archer, ServiceNow GRC, or similar) to manage risk and compliance activity day to day.
- Youre sharp, organized, and detail-obsessed - the kind of person who catches the gap before it becomes a finding.
- You can run multiple audits and priorities at once in a fast-moving setting and still hit your deadlines.
- You can translate dense risk and compliance language into something a non-technical stakeholder actually understands and acts on.
- Youve led or supported compliance audits and certifications before- ISO 27001, SOC 2, or similar - and you know what "audit season" actually feels like from the inside.
- Youve worked cross-functionally with product, HR, IT, and legal teams before, and you know how to get buy-in without slowing everyone down.
