Role Description This Graduate Engineering Trainee position is an internship role based on-site in Chennai. The trainee will support senior engineers in the planning and design of vertical transportation and façade access solutions, assisting with technical calculations, layout reviews, and documentation.

Daily tasks include data collection, analysis of building performance requirements, preparation of reports and presentations,



and participation in project meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders. The role also involves learning relevant standards and guidelines, supporting project coordination activities, and contributing to quality assurance under supervision. The trainee will gain exposure to real-world consulting projects, with a focus on developing practical engineering, analytical, and communication skills.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering knowledge, ideally through a relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret technical data, perform basic calculations, and support performance assessments.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to prepare transparent documentation and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess foundational Project Management skills, including task prioritization, time management, and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of building services, vertical transportation, or façade systems is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic engineering software tools is beneficial.
- Ability to learn quickly, take initiative, and work responsibly under guidance in an on-site environment.
