Role Description This full time Graduate Engineering Trainee role is based in Chennai and follows a hybrid work model, combining office presence with some work-from-home flexibility. The trainee will support senior engineers in the planning and design of vertical transportation and façade access systems, assisting with technical calculations, data analysis, and preparation of reports and presentations. Day-to-day tasks include contributing to traffic analysis and simulations, reviewing drawings and specifications, supporting project documentation,



and coordinating with internal teams to ensure project requirements are met.

The role also involves learning and applying relevant standards and guidelines, participating in project meetings, and assisting in monitoring project progress and quality. The position offers structured training, mentoring, and exposure to multidisciplinary building projects across various sectors.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret technical data, perform basic calculations, and support engineering assessments.
- Candidates should possess foundational Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering knowledge, preferably with exposure to building services or related disciplines.
- Candidates should possess basic Project Management abilities, such as organizing tasks, tracking timelines, and supporting project documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related engineering field.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with CAD tools or engineering software is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, eagerness to learn, and ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment based in Chennai.
- Interest in vertical transportation, façade access, building design, or construction consultancy is highly beneficial.
