Job Title: GitHub Enterprise Administrator / GitHub Platform Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled GitHub Enterprise Administrator / GitHub Platform Engineer with 5 to 8 years of experience in GitHub platform administration, repository governance, automation, and developer platform management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and securing GitHub Enterprise Cloud environments, implementing governance standards, automating administrative tasks, and supporting development teams across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer and manage GitHub Enterprise Cloud (GitHub.com) environments.
- Perform GitHub Organization Administration, including organization setup and configuration.
- Manage organization, member, team, and repository access controls.
- Configure and maintain IP Allowlists and access security policies.
- Implement and support SAML SSO authentication and identity management.
- Define and enforce repository governance, branch protection policies, and rulesets.
- Administer GitHub Actions, workflows, and self-hosted runners.
- Manage and support GitHub Apps, webhooks, and third-party integrations.
- Utilize GitHub REST APIs, GraphQL APIs, and GitHub CLI for administration and automation.
- Monitor and analyze audit logs, security events, and compliance requirements.
- Troubleshoot platform, access, authentication, and repository-related issues.
- Develop automation scripts and operational tooling using Python or Bash.
- Collaborate with development, security, and platform engineering teams to enhance developer productivity and platform governance.
- Drive best practices around GitHub security,



repository management, CI/CD, and automation.

Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with GitHub Enterprise Cloud Administration.
- Strong understanding of GitHub Organizations, Teams, Repositories, and Access Management.
- Experience with SAML SSO, identity providers, and authentication mechanisms.
- Expertise in GitHub Actions, workflows, runners, and CI/CD concepts.
- Experience with GitHub REST API, GraphQL API, and GitHub CLI.
- Knowledge of branch protection rules, repository governance, and security controls.
- Experience managing GitHub Apps, integrations, and webhooks.
- Robust troubleshooting and incident resolution skills.
- Proficiency in Python and/or Bash scripting for automation.
- Experience working with audit logs, compliance, and security monitoring.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD ecosystems.
- Exposure to Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Terraform, or Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Understanding of enterprise security and compliance frameworks.
- Experience supporting large-scale GitHub environments.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5 to 8 years of overall IT experience with significant hands-on expertise in GitHub administration and platform engineering.
