Role Description The German Trainer will deliver engaging, structured online lessons to learners at various proficiency levels, focusing on speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning lessons, creating teaching materials, assessing learner progress, and providing constructive feedback to support language development. The trainer will conduct virtual classes, manage learner queries, and adapt teaching methods to different learning styles and goals, such as exam preparation, academic use, or professional communication.

Collaboration with the Twins Abroad team to refine curricula, share best practices, and participate in periodic training or meetings is expected.



This is a full-time remote role, requiring consistent availability, reliable communication, and professional online classroom management.

Qualifications

- Robust command of the German language, including grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and contemporary usage.
- Experience in teaching or training, preferably in German as a foreign or second language, with the ability to plan and deliver structured lessons.
- Ability to design and use digital teaching materials and tools, and to conduct interactive online classes using virtual platforms.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and feedback skills, with a supportive and inclusive approach to diverse learners.
- Formal qualifications such as a degree in German, Linguistics, Education, or a related field; teaching certifications (e.g., DaF/DaZ) are an advantage.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with reliability in scheduling, reporting learner progress, and meeting program requirements.
- Comfort working independently in a remote setting, with a stable internet connection and a professional online teaching environment.
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity, with an interest in helping learners prepare for study, work, or life in German-speaking environments.
