Role Description This is a full-time, on-site General Manager role based in Hyderabad.

The General

Manager will oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring alignment with Sify’s strategic objectives and service delivery standards across ICT solutions and infrastructure.

Responsibilities include leading cross-functional teams, managing budgets and performance metrics, driving business growth, and maintaining solid relationships with key customers and partners. The role involves monitoring operational efficiency, implementing process improvements, and ensuring adherence to compliance, quality, and security standards.

Manager will also collaborate with senior leadership to identify market opportunities, support digital transformation initiatives, and mentor team members to achieve business goals.

Qualifications

- Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience guiding cross-functional teams and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Operational management expertise, including budget oversight, performance monitoring, process improvement, and resource planning.
- Background in ICT, cloud, data center, or network services, with the ability to understand complex technical solutions and business transformation initiatives.
- Strategic planning and business development capabilities, including market analysis, growth planning, and stakeholder management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills for engaging with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Proven track record in managing large accounts or regional operations in technology or related industries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; a postgraduate degree (MBA or equivalent) is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Hyderabad and adapt to a fast-paced, evolving digital business environment.
