Position Summary

We are seeking an accomplished General Manager – Hospital Operations to lead end-to-end operations of our 200-bed facility. The role will be accountable for operational efficiency, NABH compliance, financial performance, doctor engagement, and patient safety. The ideal leader will drive growth, strengthen systems, and position the hospital as a trusted super speciality destination on the Srisailam corridor.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperations

· Lead daily operations – OPD, IPD, OT, ICU, ER, Pharmacy, Lab, Radiology

· Optimize patient flow, bed occupancy, ALOS and discharge TAT

· Implement SOPs, HIS utilization and inter-departmental coordination

· Ensure 24x7 readiness and emergency response protocols

P&L; & Business Development

· Own P&L; – revenue growth, cost optimization, EBITDA and budget controls

· Develop referral network, corporate tie-ups and health camps

· Plan pricing, packages, and outreach for South Hyderabad catchment

· Monitor KPIs – ARPOB, occupancy, OT utilization, collection efficiency

NABH & Compliance

· Drive NABH accreditation, re-assessments and continuous quality audits

· Ensure compliance – Clinical Establishment Act,



Bio-medical Waste, Fire, PNDT

· Manage TPA, insurance, CGHS/ECHS documentation and empanelment

· Lead statutory inspections, incident reporting and risk management

Doctor & Staff Management

· Recruit, retain and roster consultants, RMOs, nursing and support staff

· Build consultant engagement and clinical governance model

· Drive training, KRAs, performance appraisals and culture

· Lead manpower planning for 200-bed scale-up

Quality & Patient Safety

· Implement quality indicators, infection control and medication safety

· Ensure patient feedback, grievance redressal and service excellence

· Lead Quality Committee, Safety Rounds and Clinical Audits

· Drive zero-harm culture and NABH PS goals implementation

Candidate Profile

QualificationMBBS + MHA / MBA (Hospital Mgmt) Preferred

MHA

MBA Healthcare

MBBS with hospital management background strongly preferred. Non-MBBS candidates with proven large hospital leadership may be considered.

Experience

· 10-15 years in hospital operations; minimum 5 years as GM / COO / DGM

· Must have led 100+ bedded hospital (200-bed experience preferred)

· Strong hands-on exposure to greenfield/brownfield scale-up
