Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced General Manager – Hotel to lead overall hotel operations and ensure high standards of guest satisfaction, service quality, revenue performance, and profitability.

The GM will oversee key functions including Rooms Division, Food & Beverage, Sales & Marketing, Finance, and Human Resources, while driving operational excellence and maintaining premium hospitality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Take overall responsibility for hotel operations, profitability, and guest experience.
- Manage P&L;, budgeting, forecasting, and capital expenditure planning.
- Monitor key hotel KPIs including RevPAR, ADR, and GOPPAR.
- Control labour costs, energy consumption, and departmental expenses.
- Ensure compliance with 4-star/5-star brand standards and quality requirements.
- Personally engage with VIP guests and handle high-level complaints.
- Monitor guest feedback and online ratings across major platforms.
- Conduct regular property inspections covering guest rooms, public areas, hygiene, safety, and back-of-house operations.
- Lead and mentor departmental heads and senior management teams.
- Drive employee retention, recruitment, training, performance management, and succession planning.




- Work with Sales & Marketing teams on pricing strategies, corporate contracts, and promotional campaigns.
- Represent the hotel with business communities, tourism boards, media, and other external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with licensing, health, fire safety, and labour regulations.
- Oversee preventive maintenance of hotel infrastructure, equipment, and technology assets.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Hotel Management, or Restaurant Administration.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive hospitality experience.
- At least 3–5 years of experience as a General Manager or Hotel Manager in an upscale 4-star or 5-star property.
- Solid financial and strategic decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution abilities.
- High emotional intelligence and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Hands-on knowledge of PMS, POS, and financial accounting systems.
- Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) certification is an added advantage.
