Timings – 8.5 Hours (Between 1PM – 11PM)

Working days – 5.5 Days (Monday – Friday + any 2 Saturdays in a month)

Overview: Modern Growth Technologies Limited (Subsidiary of thesqua.re , providing shared services for leading global corporate travel and travel tech marketplaces is seeking an experienced Financial Officer. This role will be responsible for overseeing the financial management of UK and European entities for travel tech clients. The person will manage full-cycle bookkeeping, statutory monthly P&L; reporting, collections, credit control, liaising with banks for working capital, and with venture and private equity for raising long term equity capital.

The ideal candidate should be adept at working in a dynamic, high-growth environment, managing and motivating team, and be proactive in integrating latest technologies including AI-based solutions into financial processes to create continuous efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities-

Financial Planning & Budgeting: Collaborate with senior management to prepare, review, and update the company's business plans and financial forecasts. Develop, manage, and monitor the annual budget process, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. End to end management of Budgeting and Forecasting activities at various level, Costs Comparison, Variance Analysis etc.

Management Information Systems (MIS): Prepare and present accurate financial reports and MIS to management on monthly basis. Analvzing performance to support strategic decision-making. Providing and presenting the financial data with analytics for weekly/ monthly management call.

Accounts Preparation:



Oversee the preparation of quarterly, half-yearly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards (e.g., Ind-AS, IFRS) and legal requirements. Ensure accuracy in financial records. Co-ordinating year-end closings. Provide necessary support for month end activities analytical review of cost statement and income statement and balance sheet reconciliation.

Internal & Statutory Audits: Coordinate internal and statutory audits, ensuring the company adheres to internal controls, compliance, and operational standards. Implement corrective actions to address audit findings.

Taxation & Compliance: Ensure compliance with all tax obligations, including VAT/GST, corporate taxes, and related matters in particular UKs HMRC compliance. Oversee tax assessments filing, and disputes in coordination with external tax consultants.

Cash Flow & Treasury Management: Manage cash flow and banking relationships for credit facilities and day to day operations. Control the treasury function, ensuring sufficient cash flow for day-to-day operations adequate funds for operations and effective deployment of surplus funds in various instruments ensuring secure and high returns.

ERP Systems & Technological Advancements: Leverage ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, Tally) tc streamline financial processes. Explore and implement Al and ML technologies to enhance reporting, forecasting, and overall financial operations.

Pay: ₹1,770,358.86 - ₹2,197,560.14 per year
