Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented General Manager Accounts to lead the Accounts & Finance function at our Head Office. The candidate will be responsible for overall financial control, accounting operations, MIS, statutory compliance, banking, taxation, and coordination with project/site accounts teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Overall supervision and management of Accounts & Finance operations.
- Monitor project/site-wise accounts and financial transactions.
- Preparation and review of MIS, financial statements and management reports.
- Manage GST, TDS, income tax and other statutory compliances.
- Handle banking, reconciliation, cash flow and fund planning.
- Review contractor, vendor and third-party payments.
- Monitor receivables, payables and outstanding balances.
- Coordinate with CA, auditors, banks and statutory authorities.
- Ensure proper accounting controls and timely closing of books.
- Guide and supervise Accounts Managers, site accountants and finance teams.
- Support management in budgeting, cost control and financial decision-making.
- Ensure proper implementation of ERP/accounting systems and internal processes.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Strong experience in Construction / Infrastructure / Real Estate accounting.
- Good knowledge of Tally / ERP, MS Excel and financial reporting.
- Strong understanding of GST, TDS, taxation and statutory compliance.
- Experience in handling multiple projects/sites will be preferred.
- Robust leadership, analytical and team-management skills.
- Should be capable of independently handling the overall Accounts function.
