Role Description The GEM Tender Executive is responsible for managing end-to-end tender activities on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal. This full-time, in office role based in Sundarnagar includes daily tasks such as monitoring tender opportunities, preparing and submitting bids, and ensuring compliance with tender specifications and documentation requirements.

The role involves coordinating with internal teams for technical and commercial inputs, maintaining accurate records of tender submissions, and tracking bid statuses and outcomes. The executive will also handle communication with government departments and agencies,



assist with pricing strategies, and support post-award follow-up to ensure smooth execution of projects linked to GeM tenders.

Qualifications

- Strong tender management skills, including tender search, bid preparation, documentation, and submission on the GeM portal.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic data management for tracking tenders and bid performance.
- Knowledge of government procurement processes, contract terms, and compliance requirements related to renewable energy or engineering products.
- Effective communication and coordination abilities for working with internal technical, finance, and sales teams as well as external stakeholders.
- Attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills to handle multiple tenders and meet strict deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, engineering, or a related field; prior experience in GeM tendering or government bidding is highly advantageous.
- Understanding of solar or renewable energy products and basic commercial costing concepts will be beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Sundarnagar and adapt to evolving government procurement guidelines and company processes.
