Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain data ingestion and transformation pipelines using GCP-native services (Dataflow, Cloud Composer, BigQuery, Cloud Storage).

- Write and optimize SQL queries and basic Python/PySpark scripts for data processing tasks.

- Support unit testing, data validation, and troubleshooting of pipeline failures.

- Assist in documenting technical designs, data flows, and runbooks.

- Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint ceremonies, reporting progress and blockers to the team lead.

Required Skills

- 3 +years of experience in data engineering or a related technical role.

- Working knowledge of at least one GCP data service (BigQuery, Dataflow, or Cloud Composer).

- Proficiency in SQL; basic to intermediate Python scripting.

- Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and relational data modeling.

- Familiarity with Git/version control and Agile delivery practices.
