About the Role:-

We are looking for a Fundamental Equity Research Analyst to join our PCG team. The candidate will be responsible for conducting in-depth fundamental research, developing financial models, tracking industry developments, and generating actionable insights to support investment research and client communication.

Key Responsibilities:-

- Develop, maintain, and update detailed financial models for companies under coverage.
- Conduct fundamental analysis of companies, sectors, and industries.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret financial, operational, and industry-specific data.
- Build and regularly update industry and company databases.
- Conduct primary research by interacting with industry sources, company management, experts, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Track and analyze industry-related news, trends, events, and developments.
- Identify key business drivers, risks, opportunities, and emerging trends across covered sectors.
- Support the existing equity research team in preparing research reports, investment notes, presentations, and other analytical materials.
- Disseminate relevant research insights and industry updates to internal teams and clients.
- Monitor company performance, earnings, corporate announcements, and other material developments.




- Assist in developing investment theses through quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Candidate Profile
- MBA / CFA / CA qualification preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in equity research, financial research, investment research, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of fundamental equity analysis and financial statement analysis.
- Hands-on experience in financial modeling and valuation.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret large volumes of financial and industry data and derive meaningful insights.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good understanding of financial markets, business models, and industry dynamics.
- Ability to independently conduct research and work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with financial databases and research tools will be an advantage.
