Bachelors degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent, with 3–6 years of experience in embedded development.
- Skilled in C programming, with experience in C++, Python, and/or assembly language.
- Solid understanding of standard MCU peripherals and system resources, including clocks/PLLs, watchdogs/timers, UART, SPI, I2C, ADC, and PWM.
- Experience with Arm Cortex-M MCUs, preferably PSoC Control and XMC families, across single- and multi-core architectures.
- Ability to debug and root-cause issues at the application code, register, and board level; comfortable using debuggers such as GDB/JTAG, oscilloscopes, and fault-injection techniques.
- Working knowledge of IEC 61508 (SIL 2) and/or ISO 26262 is desired; familiarity with IEC 60730/60335 Class B requirements is advantageous.
- Hands-on experience with Class B / SIL 2 self-test libraries, including CPU register/PC/interrupt tests, RAM march tests, Flash CRC/signature checks, clock monitoring, and stack/watchdog tests, is a plus.
