About Micron ERP

Micron ERP is building school management software for private schools across Punjab and India — helping principals, teachers, and admins run their institutions digitally. We are an early-stage EdTech startup and this role sits at the heart of how every school experiences our product.

About This Role

We are looking for a Functional Consultant who can bridge the gap between our product and the schools that use it. This is NOT a programming or software development role — you do not need to write code. Instead, you need to deeply understand how our platform works functionally, configure it for each school's specific needs, demo it confidently to prospects, and train school staff to use it effectively.

You will be the person who turns a signed deal into a school that is actually up and running on Micron ERP — configured correctly, staff trained, and running smoothly. If you enjoy understanding how systems work, explaining things clearly to non-technical people, and solving practical problems for schools, this role is for you.

What You Will Do

Product Demos

- Join calls or visits scheduled by the sales team to demo the Micron ERP platform to prospective schools
- Present the product clearly and confidently to principals, directors, and school administrators
- Handle functional questions during demos — what the platform can and cannot do
- Tailor each demo to the specific school's size, board type, and needs
- School Setup & Configuration
- Configure Micron ERP for each newly onboarded school — classes, sections, subjects, staff, pay structures, and timetables
- Set up attendance, examination,



and pay collection modules according to each school's specific requirements
- Ensure each school's setup is accurate and complete before go-live
- Coordinate with the technology team for any configuration issues that require technical support

Training & OnboardingPost Go-Live Support

- Train school principals, teachers, and administrative staff to use the platform confidently
- Create simple, clear training materials and walkthroughs for non-technical school staff
- Conduct in-person or remote training sessions depending on the school's location and needs
- Ensure schools feel supported and confident within their first 30 days of going live
- Be the first point of contact for functional questions from newly onboarded schools
- Distinguish between user errors and genuine technical issues, escalating the latter appropriately
- Gather feedback from schools on what is working and what needs improvement
- Share insights with the founding team to help prioritise future product improvementsWhat We Offer
- Salary: ₹12,000 – ₹15,000 per month based on experience
