Role Overview :

As a Functional Consultant specializing in Record-to-Report (R2R), you will serve as the bridge between complex financial business requirements and robust technical solutions. You will lead end-to-end implementation cycles, collaborating closely with global stakeholders, finance controllers, and technical development teams to streamline financial closing processes, general ledger management, and statutory reporting.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and configure R2R business processes within the ERP ecosystem to align with global accounting standards and local statutory requirements.
- Lead workshops with business process owners to translate complex financial pain points into scalable functional designs.
- Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, including requirement gathering, gap analysis, solution architecture, and user acceptance testing.
- Partner with technical teams to troubleshoot integration issues between financial modules and peripheral systems.




- Provide expert-level functional guidance to internal teams and clients during post-implementation support.

Required Skillset :

- Deep expertise in R2R processes, including General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Bank Accounting, and Tax configuration.
- Robust analytical capabilities to interpret complex financial data and translate them into functional specifications.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical finance leaders.
- Professional degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, complemented by relevant ERP certifications.
- Ability to thrive in a distributed work environment across multiple time zones.
- 8 - 12 years of hands-on experience in managing large-scale financial transformations.

Tech Stack : SAP FICO, SAP S/4HANA, Record To Report (R2R), General Ledger.
