Full-Stack JavaScript Developer – Node.js, React and Vue.js

We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack JavaScript Developer to design, develop and maintain secure, scalable web applications using Node.js, React, Vue.js and MySQL.

You will take ownership of the complete software development lifecycle—from requirements gathering and solution design to coding, testing, deployment, troubleshooting and documentation. This role is ideal for a developer who can work independently, solve complex technical problems and deliver reliable, production-ready applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the full application development lifecycle, from initial concept through deployment and ongoing support.
- Design, build and maintain high-performance web applications using Node.js.
- Develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces using React, Vue.js, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3.
- Build and integrate secure REST APIs and third-party services.
- Design and optimise MySQL databases for performance, scalability, availability and data integrity.
- Improve, modernise and extend existing applications and codebases.
- Write clean, reusable, testable and well-documented code.
- Troubleshoot application, database, server and network-related issues.
- Apply secure coding practices and contribute to application security and performance improvements.
- Support application deployments, production monitoring and incident resolution.
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to translate requirements into practical solutions.
- Manage multiple development projects while maintaining delivery quality and timelines.

Required Skills and Experience
- At least two years of professional Node.js development experience.
- Strong experience in full-stack web application development.
- Proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript and REST API development.
- Practical experience with React and/or Vue.js.




- Robust knowledge of MySQL, including schema design, query optimisation, indexing and database performance.
- Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, Ajax and jQuery.
- Experience building scalable, distributed and high-availability applications.
- Understanding of web application security, authentication, authorisation and secure coding practices.
- Familiarity with Linux servers, scripting, application deployment and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of source control systems such as Git.
- Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned projects.
- Excellent written and spoken English.

Desirable Skills
- Experience with automated testing and continuous integration and deployment.
- Knowledge of Docker, cloud platforms or containerised application deployment.
- Experience with application monitoring, logging and performance optimisation.
- Familiarity with Agile software development practices.
- Experience maintaining or modernising legacy web applications.
