As a Full Stack Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the architecture, development and future of our client's AI-powered software testing platform. You will work across the complete technology stack - from a Next.js front end to a cloud-based back end - to deliver a robust, scalable and user-friendly product. The role combines strong front-end and back-end engineering with the opportunity to build agentic AI experiences into the client's products and services.

This position will suit an engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, collaborating across disciplines and turning product requirements into elegant, maintainable technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement scalable, maintainable software architecture across front-end and back-end systems.
- Build and maintain features across the full stack, from user-interface components to APIs and database models.
- Implement server-side logic and APIs that support front-end functionality and a seamless user experience.
- Identify, diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks across the application stack.
- Contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of deployment processes, monitoring, CI/CD pipelines and overall system reliability.
- Work closely with the Head of Engineering & AI, Product Managers, Designers and other specialists to translate complex requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Create and maintain clear, comprehensive technical documentation for systems, architecture and engineering processes.
- Lead technical initiatives where required and support the development and mentoring of junior engineers.
- Apply AI-enabled development tools and practices appropriately to improve development speed and quality.





Essential Qualifications

- A minimum of three years' professional experience in full-stack web development, with a strong focus on modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Strong hands-on proficiency in TypeScript, Next.js, React and Node.js.
- A deep understanding of front-end technologies, including contemporary state-management solutions and responsive user-interface development.
- Solid back-end development experience, including RESTful APIs and database design across SQL and NoSQL technologies.
- Experience with cloud services, ideally Azure, including modern serverless patterns such as Azure Functions, queue-based subscriptions and workflows.
- Practical experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring and cloud infrastructure management.
- Strong object-oriented development experience, including code reuse and separation-of-concerns principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills across the full application stack.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- A practical understanding of how AI can be used to accelerate and improve software development activities.
- Evidence of leading technical initiatives and mentoring or supporting less-experienced developers.

Nice to Have Qualifications

- Strong Azure experience, particularly Azure Functions.
- An advocate of Test-Driven Development and its role in producing high-quality,



testable and well-documented code.
- Experience integrating AI technologies, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems.
- Knowledge of complex agentic patterns, including Human-in-the-Loop and sub-agent approaches.
- Experience with real-time communication protocols such as WebSockets.
- Familiarity with cloud-based AI and machine-learning services, large language models and their application in software development.
