ReachX is a MediaTech startup that empowers brands to strengthen their market positioning and drive measurable sales growth through innovative media, advertising, merchandising, and marketing solutions.

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer who can manage end-to-end operational activities, coordinate with clients and vendors, and ensure smooth and timely execution of advertising and merchandising projects.

Responsibilities

· Develop, enhance, and maintain the existing reachX full-stack application.

· Build scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js, TypeScript, Express, Apollo, and PostgreSQL.

· Develop responsive and maintainable frontend features using React and contemporary JavaScript/TypeScript.

· Design and optimise PostgreSQL schemas, queries, indexes, transactions, and data-access patterns for growing workloads.

· Improve application scalability, performance, availability, observability, and maintainability.

· Implement enterprise features such as role-based access, auditability, configuration, integrations, reporting, and operational controls as required.

· Work with nginx, Docker, AWS, and GitHub Actions to package, deploy, and operate application components.

· Diagnose production and development issues across application, database, networking, and deployment layers.

· Write clean, modular, testable code and participate in code reviews and engineering best practices.

· Independently break down requirements into technical tasks, estimate effort, identify risks, and deliver working solutions.

· Collaborate with product and engineering stakeholders while taking ownership of assigned features from development through release.

Required Technical Skills





Version Control: Strong hands-on experience with Git, including branching, merging, pull requests, and collaborative workflows.

Backend: Strong practical experience with Node.js and TypeScript; experience with Express and/or Apollo/GraphQL APIs.

Database: Good hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design, SQL, indexing, query optimisation, and transactions.

Frontend: Strong working knowledge of React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frontend development.

Web & UI: Experience with Vite and familiarity with Tailwind CSS, MUI, and component-based UI development.

Infrastructure: Working knowledge of nginx, Docker, AWS, and application deployment concepts.

Version Control & CI/CD: Strong working knowledge of Git and GitHub Actions, including branching, pull requests, code reviews, and CI/CD workflows.

Technology Stack

Backend: Java, Gradle, Node.js, TypeScript, Express, Apollo, PostgreSQL

Frontend: React, Vite, Tailwind CSS, MUI, Radix UI, Recharts, MapLibre

Deployment & DevOps: nginx, AWS, Docker, GitHub Actions

What We Are Looking For

· Strong problem-solving ability and a structured approach to debugging.

· Ability to work independently with an existing codebase and make sound technical decisions.

· Ownership mindset — comfortable taking a feature from requirement to production.





· Good understanding of software engineering fundamentals, APIs, databases, Git, testing, and deployment.

· Ability to balance speed of delivery with code quality, security, scalability, and maintainability.

· Clear communication and willingness to collaborate closely with a small, execution-focused engineering team.

· Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies and understand the broader product and business context.

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills

· Experience with GraphQL and Apollo.

· Experience building map-based or geospatial applications, preferably with MapLibre or similar libraries.

· Experience with AWS services, Linux-based deployments, and production troubleshooting.

· Understanding of caching, background jobs, queues, connection pooling, and other scalability patterns.

· Exposure to automated testing, logging, monitoring, and application observability.

· Experience working on SaaS, enterprise, mobility, logistics, GIS, or other data-intensive applications.

· Basic familiarity with Java and Gradle, as these are part of the existing reachX technology stack.

Education & Experience

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

· 2–4 years of professional software development experience, with demonstrated hands-on delivery of full-stack web applications.
