We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Freight Salesperson to develop new business opportunities and grow our customer base in the freight and logistics industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying potential customers, understanding their transportation requirements, providing competitive freight solutions, and maintaining robust client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and develop new customers through cold calling, email outreach, networking, referrals, and other sales activities.

- Generate and qualify freight and logistics leads.

- Understand customers’ shipping requirements and recommend suitable transportation solutions.

- Prepare and negotiate freight quotations, rates, and service agreements.

- Build and maintain long-term relationships with shippers, manufacturers, distributors, importers, exporters, and other customers.

- Coordinate with operations and carrier teams to ensure customer requirements are met.

- Follow up on quotations and convert leads into active customers.

- Monitor customer accounts, shipment activity, and sales performance.





- Resolve customer concerns promptly and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

- Maintain accurate customer and sales information in the CRM system.

- Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.

- Monitor market conditions, competitor pricing, and freight industry trends.

- Develop strategies to increase revenue, customer retention, and repeat business.

Requirements

- Previous experience in freight, logistics, transportation, or B2B sales preferred.

- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

- Proven ability to generate leads and close sales.

- Good understanding of freight transportation and logistics processes.

- Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.

- Strong follow-up and organizational skills.

- Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and basic sales

Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
