Role Description The Freelance Video Editor will be responsible for assembling, editing, and enhancing video content from raw footage to polished final outputs, aligned with project briefs and brand guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include organizing and selecting clips, applying transitions and effects, synchronizing audio, and collaborating with cinematographers, directors, and clients to refine visual storytelling.

The role involves performing basic color correction and grading, integrating motion graphics or simple graphic elements when needed, and ensuring timely delivery of project files in required formats. This is a full-time,



on-site role based in Tripura, India, requiring close coordination with the local production team and participation in periodic review sessions.

Qualifications

- Robust skills in Video Editing and Video Production, with experience transforming raw footage into cohesive, engaging narratives.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading, with an understanding of color theory and the ability to maintain consistent visual tone across sequences.
- Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics to enhance storytelling, titles, and visual identity.
- Hands-on experience with professional editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and basic audio editing.
- Solid understanding of video formats, codecs, resolution standards, and best practices for exporting and archiving media.
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with openness to feedback and iterative creative processes.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, visual communication, or a related field is beneficial; prior experience in cultural or event-based projects is an advantage.
