Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Freelance Video Editing Trainer role based in Mumbai. The trainer will design and deliver structured training sessions on video editing, color grading, motion graphics, and related tools, following Henry Harvin’s curriculum and quality standards.
Day-to-day tasks include preparing lesson plans, demonstrating editing workflows and best practices, guiding learners through hands-on projects, and providing constructive feedback on assignments.
The role also involves updating training materials to reflect current industry trends, collaborating with the academic team on course improvements, and maintaining professional conduct and punctuality during all scheduled sessions.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess robust skills in Video Production and Video Editing.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Video Color Grading and Graphics.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Motion Graphics and related visual design tools.
- Experience as a trainer, mentor, or instructor in media, animation, or film-related fields is beneficial.
- Familiarity with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) is preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills are required.
- Ability to create practical, project-based learning experiences and adapt teaching style to diverse learners is advantageous.
- A relevant degree, diploma, or professional certification in film, media, animation, or a related discipline is preferred.
