Zuhouz is an online interior design platform that connects homeowners with vetted, independent interior designers to deliver end-to-end design services — from concept development to execution — at accessible price points. Zuhouz handles lead generation, client matching, and project coordination so Design Partners can focus on design.
Role Overview
As a Zuhouz Design Partner, you'll be matched with residential (and occasionally light commercial) clients sourced through the platform. You'll own the design relationship end-to-end — from the first client conversation through concept, working drawings, and final handover — while Zuhouz supports you with leads, tools, and back-end coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct client consultations to understand requirements, budget, and lifestyle needs
- Develop design concepts, mood boards, and 3D visualizations for approval
- Prepare working drawings, material specifications, and cost estimates
- Coordinate site visits and measurements
- Liaise with vendors, contractors, and Zuhouz's execution/installation partners to ensure design intent is delivered
- Manage project timelines and keep clients updated through each phase
- Maintain design quality and brand consistency in line with Zuhouz standards
- Log project details, revisions, and approvals through Zuhouz's project management tools
Requirements
- Diploma/degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on residential interior design experience
- Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or equivalent)
- Strong portfolio demonstrating space planning and material selection skills
- Comfortable managing multiple concurrent projects independently
- Good communication skills — client-facing role requiring trust-building and clear presentation of ideas
- Based in or able to regularly travel within Gurugram, Noida, or Delhi NCR for site visits
