About Us The Wellness Shop is a D2C beauty and wellness brand rooted in Ayurveda-inspired formulations. We are looking for a sharp, hands-on individual to join the Founder’s Office and drive New Product Development by identifying trending beauty products, emerging brands and market opportunities, and supporting the journey from product idea to sampling and development.

Key Responsibilities

- Research and track trending products, ingredients, brands and consumer trends in the Beauty & Personal Care space across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest and other platforms.
- Identify emerging trends and convert market insights into actionable product ideas .
- Present product research, trends and opportunities to the founders.
- Coordinate the product sampling process , including sample requests, testing, feedback and iterations.
- Identify relevant manufacturers and external partners for shortlisted product concepts.




- Coordinate and follow up on samples, development timelines and product requirements .
- Communicate with partners regarding pricing, feasibility and development timelines.
- Support the founders in taking products from concept → research → sampling → development .
- Maintain organized records of product research, samples and the new product pipeline .

Requirements

- 1–3 years of experience in Product Development, Product Research, Category, Brand, E-commerce or a similar role.
- Strong awareness and genuine interest in Beauty & Personal Care trends, social media and emerging brands .
- Strong research skills with the ability to identify what’s trending and why .
- Good communication, coordination and negotiation skills.
- Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple projects and follow-ups.
- Proactive, hands-on and comfortable working in a fast-paced, founder-led setting .
- Prior experience in Beauty, FMCG or D2C is preferred but not mandatory.
