Senior Databricks Engineer/Forward Deployed Engineer

Job Summary :

We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) with strong expertise in multi-cloud data engineering and contemporary data platforms. The role requires hands-on experience with cloud data engineering services across Azure, AWS, or GCP, along with the Databricks Lakehouse Platform and Snowflake.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data engineering solutions across multi-cloud environments.
- Build and optimize data pipelines using cloud-native data engineering services.
- Develop and manage data solutions using the Databricks Lakehouse Platform.
- Implement Delta Lake for reliable and scalable data storage and processing.
- Configure and manage Unity Catalog for data governance, access control, and metadata management.
- Develop and maintain Delta Live Tables pipelines for data processing and transformation.
- Design, implement, and manage Databricks Workflows for pipeline orchestration and automation.
- Use Databricks SQL for data analysis, querying, and performance optimization.




- Work with Snowflake for data warehousing and analytics solutions.
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to understand business requirements and deliver tailored data engineering solutions.
- Act as a Forward Deployed Engineer by working closely with customers to implement, troubleshoot, and optimize data platforms.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize data pipelines, queries, and data processing workloads.

Tech Stack :

- Cloud: Azure, AWS, or GCP (ADF, S3, Glue, Redshift, BigQuery, Dataflow)
- Databricks: Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Delta Live Tables, Databricks Workflows, Databricks SQL
- Data Warehousing: Snowflake

Required Qualifications :

- Strong experience in data engineering and modern cloud data platforms.
- Ability to design, implement, and optimize scalable data pipelines.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple technical requirements in a fast-paced environment.
