FLOOR SUPERVISOR

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of floor staff.

- Ensure proper product display, shelf arrangement and stock availability.

- Monitor replenishment of products from the stockroom to the sales floor.

- Ensure proper pricing, labelling and promotional displays.

- Assist customers and resolve routine customer queries and complaints.

- Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, grooming and discipline.

- Allocate duties and ensure adequate staff coverage across different sections.

- Coordinate with the Receiving, Purchase, Billing and Store teams as required.

- Monitor product expiry, damages, shortages and stock discrepancies.

- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene and safety standards are maintained on the sales floor.

- Support the Store Manager in achieving daily and monthly sales targets.

- Monitor sales performance of assigned sections and report issues to management.

- Ensure company policies and operational procedures are followed.

- Prepare and submit basic daily operational reports to the Store Manager.





Requirements

- 2–4 years of experience in supermarket, hypermarket or organized retail.

- Experience in FMCG, grocery or general merchandise operations will be preferred.

- Good knowledge of supermarket floor operations and product merchandising.

- Good communication and customer-handling skills.

- Ability to supervise and motivate a team.

- Basic knowledge of inventory and stock management.

- Ability to work in shifts, weekends and holidays as required.

- Positive organizational and problem-solving skills.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
