Job Responsibilities
- Perform fitting, assembly, alignment, drilling, tapping, reaming, and grinding.
- Carry out machine assembly and fit-up work as per engineering drawings.
- Handle bearings, shafts, gears, couplings, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- EOT crane handling as required.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work area safely and efficiently.
- Follow quality and safety standards.
Required Skills
- Solid knowledge of fitting and machine assembly.
- Ability to read engineering/assembly drawings.
- Hands-on experience in drilling, tapping, grinding, and precision fitting.
- Knowledge of vernier calipers, micrometers, dial gauges, and height gauges.
- Good teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Physically fit with good attendance and punctuality.
