About The Job:

- Design and implement enhanced cloud cost anomaly detection capabilities to enable early detection of potential security breaches, misconfigurations, compromised accounts, excessive resource consumption, or unusual cloud spending patterns, in close collaboration with FinOps and SIEM monitoring functions.

Qualifications:

Advanced FinOps Expertise

- FinOps Foundation Practitioner level knowledge.
- Strong understanding of:
- Cost Allocation & Showback/Chargeback.
- Unit Economics.
- Cloud Governance.
- Budget Management.
- Commitment Management.
- Forecasting.
- Cost Optimization.

- Experience operating FinOps processes in enterprise-scale AWS and Azure environments.

Apptio Cloudability Administration & Analytics

- Hands-on experience with Cloudability reporting.
- Experience developing custom dashboards.
- Experience with business mappings.
- Experience with cost allocation models.
- Experience with forecasting.
- Experience with budget management.
- Experience with commitment tracking.
- Experience with anomaly detection capabilities.
- Experience developing KPIs.
- Experience with alerting and notification mechanisms.
- Understanding of Cloudability anomaly detection and budget forecasting capabilities for identifying statistically significant spend increases and notifying stakeholders.

- Understanding of GCP cost management fundamentals.

Security Monitoring Integration

- Understanding of SIEM concepts.

- Ability to translate cloud spend anomalies into potential security indicators.
- Ability to define handover processes between FinOps and SIEM monitoring teams.
- Support collaboration with:
