NWe are looking for a dynamic and experienced Controller to lead financial service delivery across key U.S.-based client accounts. This role serves as a critical bridge between accounting execution and advisory-focused financial leadership, ensuring the delivery of accurate, timely, and insight-ready financial information.

NThe Controller will partner closely with clients, Venturity Controllers, and internal teams to deliver high-quality financial reporting, identify risks and opportunities, and support informed business decision-making. Success in this role requires strong accounting expertise, client relationship management, leadership capability, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.

NKey Responsibilities

nClient Ownership & Strategic Delivery

- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client engagements and ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.

- Build strong working relationships with clients, Venturity Controllers, and internal stakeholders.

- Participate in client financial reviews and summits, presenting results, business drivers, risks, and recommendations.
N
- Support onboarding, transitions, scope expansion, and process improvement across client accounts.

nClose Management &Financial; Reporting

- Manage month-end close activities for assigned clients, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
N
- Review close binders, reconciliations, financial statements, and reporting packages before client submission.
N
- Maintain close calendars, coordinate deliverables, and meet reporting deadlines.
N
- Analyze financial results, variances, trends, and business drivers to highlight key issues and opportunities.

nFinancial Insight & Advisory Support

- Translate accounting outputs into clear financial insights and business narratives.

- Explain performance changes, underlying drivers, and potential business impact.
N
- Anticipate operational and financial risks and recommend corrective actions.

- Support advisory discussions with decision-ready analysis and reporting.

nClient Communication & Stakeholder Management

- Ensure client communications are timely, professional, and solution-oriented.

- Share weekly updates, key action items, and critical business developments.

- Facilitate client and internal review meetings to align priorities and deliverables.

- Escalate risks, delays,or issues with practical recommendations and resolution plans.

nTeam Leadership & Performance Management

- Mentor, coach, and support Assistant Controllers and Senior Assistant Controllers across engagements.

- Review key deliverablesfor quality, accuracy, and completeness before client submission.

- Provide developmental feedback and support career growth initiatives.

- Foster accountability, ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

nTechnical Expertise & Process Excellence

- Act as a subject matter expert in U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and month-end close processes.

- Provide guidance on complex accounting matters and reporting challenges.

- Ensure accounting policies, procedures, and documentation standards are consistently applied.

- Enhance SOPs, review frameworks, reporting methodologies, and ERP-enabled efficiencies.

nProcess Improvement & Automation

- Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and workflow optimization.

- Drive initiatives that improve scalability, efficiency, and reporting quality.

- Resolve recurring process issues through root-cause analysis and corrective action planning.

- Champion best practicesand continuous improvement across client engagements.

nControls, Governance & Quality Reviews

- Ensure compliancewith U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and established accounting policies.

- Conduct quality reviewsand monitor binder quality, reporting accuracy, and process adherence.

- Identify and mitigate operational, financial, and client-related risks.

- Drive closure of reviewobservations and promote quality, accountability, and risk awareness.

nQualifications & Requirements

N

- CA, CPA, ACCA, orequivalent professional qualification.
N
- 8+ years of accounting experience, including month-end close and financial reporting.
N
- Strong understanding ofU.S. GAAP and controllership practices.
N
- Experience supporting U.S.-based clients in shared services, outsourcing, or professional services environments.
N
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Xero, or equivalent.

- Strong analytical, stakeholder management, problem-solving, communication, and team leadership skills.
