Role Overview
Narayana Health is looking for a Finance Analyst to join its UK Offshore GCC Finance team in Bengaluru. The role will support UK finance operations through financial analysis, reporting, reconciliations, month-end activities, and management reporting.
The ideal candidate should have strong accounting and financial analysis skills, good attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with UK-based stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day UK finance and accounting activities.
- Prepare and analyse monthly financial reports, management reports, and performance dashboards.
- Perform balance sheet and account reconciliations and investigate variances.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Analyse actuals against budget, forecast, and prior-period results.
- Prepare variance analysis and provide insights to finance stakeholders.
- Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, accruals, prepayments, and journal entries as required.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Ensure financial data is accurate, complete, and compliant with applicable accounting policies.
- Work closely with UK finance teams and other internal stakeholders to resolve financial queries.
- Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis and reports as required by management.
- Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, reporting, and controls.
- Maintain appropriate documentation and support internal/external audit requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, FP&A;, financial reporting, or a GCC/offshore finance environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience with reconciliations, month-end close, variance analysis, and management reporting.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and basic data analysis.
- Experience working with ERP/finance systems such as SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, or similar.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with UK-based stakeholders and international teams.
- Willingness to work from the office in Bengaluru.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting UK finance/accounting operations.
- Exposure to UK GAAP / IFRS.
- Experience in a healthcare, shared-services, GCC, or offshore finance setting.
- ACCA, CIMA, CA, CMA, or other relevant professional qualification/certification is an advantage.
- Experience with Power BI or other reporting/visualisation tools is desirable.
