Role Description The Finance Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Srinagar. This position is responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.

The Finance

Manager will prepare and analyze monthly and quarterly financial statements, monitor project costs, and ensure alignment of spending with strategic priorities. The role includes managing accounting processes, coordinating with external auditors and consultants, and ensuring compliance with relevant tax and regulatory requirements.

Manager will also support leadership with financial modeling, scenario analysis, and investment evaluations,



while implementing internal controls and improving financial processes to support the growth of ZAFTRUS.

Qualifications

- Robust skills in financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, and preparation of management reports and statements.
- Experience with cost control, project finance, and monitoring expenditures for technology or engineering initiatives.
- Ability to use financial modeling, data analysis, and spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel) to support decision-making.
- Knowledge of tax regulations, compliance requirements, and coordination with auditors and financial institutions.
- Familiarity with ERP or accounting software and comfort with technology-driven work environments.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineering and research staff.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; professional certification (such as CA, CMA, or CPA) is an advantage.
- Prior experience in a startup, technology, or engineering-focused organization is beneficial.
