Key Responsibilities

Financial Controllership &

- Accounting

- Own end-to-end finance operations: general ledger, monthly / quarterly / annual close, reconciliations, provisions, accruals, and financial statements (Ind AS / applicable framework).

- Ensure accurate accounting of loan book, interest income, processing fees, charges, NPA classification, ECL / provisioning, write-offs, and collections.

- Strengthen maker-checker controls, SOPs, payment workflows, and internal financial controls across HO and 70 branches.

- Review branch-level accounting quality, cash handling discipline, and inter-branch / HO reconciliations.

MIS, FP&A; and Business Partnering

- Build and own monthly MIS packs for CFO / Board: P&L;, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, AUM movement, yield, cost of funds, NIM, NPA, cost-to-income, branch / product profitability.

- Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and variance analysis with actionable commentary.

- Track portfolio metrics, branch performance, and cost leakages; recommend corrective action.

- Support pricing, product profitability, and growth decisions with clean numbers.

RBI, Statutory &

- Tax Compliance

- Prepare, review and file RBI returns (DNBS and other applicable NBFC filings); maintain inspection-ready documentation.

- Ensure compliance with RBI Master Directions, prudential norms, ALM / LCR (as applicable), CRAR / capital adequacy, and related financial reporting.

- Own GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory filings, reconciliations, and assessments; coordinate with consultants.

- Lead coordination of Statutory Audit, Internal Audit,



Concurrent Audit and RBI inspection; drive closure of observations.

Treasury, Funding &

- Cash Management

- Manage cash flow forecasting, fund utilisation, bank balances, and day-to-day treasury operations.

- Support borrowings from banks / NBFCs / other lenders: documentation, drawdowns, covenants, interest servicing, and relationship management.

- Monitor cost of funds, surplus deployment, and liquidity buffers in line with CFO direction.

Team Leadership

- Lead, coach and review a team of ~10 across accounts, MIS, tax support and treasury coordination.

- Set monthly close calendar, quality standards, and accountability; develop second-line capability.

- Partner with Credit, Operations, Branches, HR and IT for process discipline and data integrity.Role & responsibilities

Preferred candidate profile

- CA (Semi qualified )/ CMA strongly preferred. MBA (Finance) / M.Com acceptable with proven NBFC controllership experience.

- 8-14 years in Finance &
- Accounts, of which at least 45 years in NBFC / Lending / BFSI (gold loan, MSME, vehicle, personal loan or similar).

- Hands-on ownership of monthly close, Ind AS / IGAAP financials, MIS, GST-TDS, and RBI / DNBS reporting.

- Working knowledge of loan-book accounting, income recognition, NPA / provisioning, and branch network finance.

- Experience handling a team of 5+ and working directly with CFO / senior leadership.

- Robust Excel; working knowledge of Tally / ERP (SAP / Oracle / Zoho / similar) and MIS tools.

- Comfortable with multi-location operations (70 branches) and high-volume transaction environment.

- Clear communicator; high ownership, accuracy, and deadline discipline.
