Chartered Accountant Finance Department, Metalex

Position Summary The Chartered Accountant will play a pivotal role in Metalex finance department, ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and strategic advisory support. This position reports to the Managing Director and collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and control.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards and IFRS
- Lead internal and external audits, coordinate with statutory auditors, and implement audit recommendations
- Manage direct and indirect tax compliance, including corporate income tax, GST filings, and transfer pricing documentation
- Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses; present insights and corrective actions to leadership
- Monitor cash flow, working capital requirements, and liquidity planning
- Conduct financial analysis for new projects, capital investments, and cost-optimization initiatives
- Maintain and enhance internal control processes, ensuring adherence to corporate governance standards




- Support ERP implementation and continuous improvement of finance systems and reporting tools
- Provide ad hoc financial modelling, scenario analysis, and risk assessment for strategic decisions

Required Qualifications

- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification recognized by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI)
- Bachelors degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting
- Minimum 4 to 6 years of post-qualification experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Strong knowledge of Indian GAAP, IFRS, direct and indirect tax regulations

- Exposure to M&A; financial due diligence and integration processes
