Role Description

This is an on-site finance role in Kozhikode, starting with a two-month internship and moving to full time on satisfactory completion. We are a funded early-stage company approaching commercial launch, which means the books need to be clean and the filings need to be on time. You will maintain our financial records, prepare the workbooks and document packs our chartered accountant works from, track payables and receivables, and support our grant and loan applications.

Our CA handles statutory sign-off. Your job is to make sure everything reaching them is accurate and on time. You will work directly with the founder.

What you will work on

- Maintain financial records, ledgers, and reconciliations.
- Build and maintain financial models and projection workbooks in Excel.
- Track payables, receivables, and payroll inputs.




- Prepare document packs for GST, ROC filings, and statutory compliance, working with our CA.
- Support grant, loan, and scheme applications with the financial sections.
- Keep vendor, import, and expense documentation in order.

Qualifications

- Any field. B.Com, CA Inter, CMA, or an MBA in finance is useful. Studying towards a qualification is fine.
- Strong Excel. You can build a formula-driven workbook, not just fill one in.
- Understand basic accounting: ledgers, reconciliation, and how a P&L; and balance sheet fit together.
- Familiar with Indian compliance basics: GST, TDS, and what a CA needs from you.
- Careful with numbers and with documents. You check before you send.
- Comfortable using AI tools to work faster.
