The Role

This is a full-time, in office position located in Kolkata, India for the role of Finance Associate. We are looking for a driven Finance Associate to partner directly with our Operations and Sales teams and manage the financial engine of our daily operations. As our Finance Associate, you will be the operational backbone of our Finance team. Working closely with the Finance Head, you will take ownership of our Accounting, Sales Purchase documentation and Tax Statutory compliances.

Key Responsibilities

- Commercial Documentation: Generate, verify, and organize all crucial Sales and Purchase documents, including Purchase Work Orders, Quotations, Tax Invoices and Import Export documentation such as Commercial Invoice, Packing List and Shipping documents.
- Book-keeping Data Entry: Maintain accurate ledgers across our accounting systems,



including multi-currency transactions to ensure correct categorization of expenses.
- Accounts Payable Receivable: Schedule supplier payments and manage customer receivables to ensure healthy financial management and thorough reconciliations.
- Statutory Compliance: Prepare and finalize monthly and annual closing for accurate data preparation for tax filings and statutory compliances.
- International Trade Compliance: Ensure all Import Export documents align perfectly with our financial records to maintain a seamless audit trail and ensure regulatory and banking compliance.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in modern accounting software financial spreadsheets along with thorough documentation management skills and a sharp eye for detail.
- Prior experience in Manufacturing, Corporate and International trade environments is a significant advantage.
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field with relevant work experience.
