About the Role

We are looking for a Manager – Finance & Accounting to manage day-to-day financial and accounting operations with primary ownership of Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), reconciliations, month-end closure, MIS, and financial reporting .

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on accounting experience, good analytical skills, and the ability to independently manage finance operations while coordinating effectively with internal stakeholders, vendors, customers, and auditors.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable (AR)

- Manage end-to-end AR operations including invoicing, collections, customer reconciliations, and ageing analysis.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and ensure timely follow-up and collection.
- Identify and resolve reconciliation issues, credit notes, debit notes, and customer ledger discrepancies.
- Track receivables and provide regular updates to management.

Accounts Payable (AP)

- Oversee vendor invoice processing, verification, accounting, and payment cycles.
- Ensure timely vendor payments while maintaining appropriate documentation and approvals.
- Perform vendor ledger reconciliation and resolve outstanding discrepancies.
- Monitor payable ageing and support effective working-capital management.

Accounting & Financial Operations





- Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions and maintenance of books of accounts.
- Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
- Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, provisions, accruals, and other accounting schedules.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, statutory requirements, and internal financial controls.

MIS & Reporting

- Prepare periodic MIS reports and financial dashboards for management review.
- Provide analysis on revenue, receivables, payables, expenses, cash flow, and working capital.
- Highlight key financial variances, trends, and areas requiring management attention.
- Support management with data-driven financial insights for decision-making.

Cash Flow & Working Capital

- Monitor daily/weekly cash flow requirements and fund utilization.
- Support working-capital planning and ensure efficient utilization of available funds.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders for payment planning and cash-flow requirements.

Audit, Compliance & Stakeholder Management

- Coordinate with internal and external auditors for timely completion of audits.
- Ensure availability and accuracy of supporting documents, schedules, and reconciliations.




- Coordinate with internal teams such as Commercial, Sales, Procurement, Operations, and HR for finance-related matters.
- Support statutory and regulatory compliance activities as required.

Budgeting & Financial Planning

- Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Track actuals against budgets and assist in variance analysis.
- Provide relevant financial data and analysis to support business planning.

Key Skills & Competencies

- Strong knowledge of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Accounting, and Reconciliation .
- Positive understanding of month-end closing and financial reporting .
- Strong Excel skills and proficiency in accounting/ERP systems.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong understanding of cash flow and working-capital management.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines independently.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Qualification

- CA Inter / CMA / M.Com / B.Com or equivalent qualification.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounting.
- Candidates from Retail, Apparel, E-commerce, FMCG, or other fast-paced consumer businesses will be preferred.
