ROLE SUMMARY

We are looking for a hands-on Field Technician to support, maintain, and troubleshoot deployed IoT and RFID systems at a client site in Uluberia, Howrah.

The role involves installation support, preventive maintenance, basic electrical and electronic troubleshooting, system health checks, fault reporting, and coordination with the remote technical team to ensure smooth and continuous operation of the deployed systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Maintain and monitor deployed IoT devices, RFID readers, sensors, gateways, and related field hardware.
- Troubleshoot basic electrical, electronic, wiring, power supply, connectivity, and hardware-related issues.
- Perform device health checks and verify system status, connectivity, and basic system logs.
- Support installation, wiring, mounting, testing, configuration, and commissioning of new systems.
- Carry out routine preventive maintenance and identify potential equipment failures.
- Diagnose field-level faults and follow standard troubleshooting procedures.
- Coordinate with the remote technical team for software, network, configuration, or advanced technical issues.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, faults, repairs, replacements, and installation updates.
- Monitor the operational condition of installed systems and ensure timely reporting of issues.
- Follow site safety procedures and company guidelines while performing technical activities.
- Coordinate with client/site personnel for day-to-day technical requirements and system support.

REQUIRED SKILLS & PROFILE

- ITI or Diploma in Electronics,



Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- Basic understanding of electrical wiring, relays, sensors, power supplies, circuits, and electronic devices.
- Familiarity with basic troubleshooting using multimeter and other diagnostic tools.
- Comfortable accessing device interfaces, reports, system logs, and basic technical documentation.
- Previous experience in maintenance, field service, plant support, industrial equipment, IoT, RFID, or automation is preferred.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting ability.
- Ability to work independently at a client site and take ownership of assigned technical activities.
- Good communication and coordination skills for working with clients and remote technical teams.
- Willingness to work full-time from the Uluberia, Howrah location.

IDEAL CANDIDATE A practical and hands-on technician who is comfortable working with industrial devices, electrical/electronic equipment, wiring, and field installations. The ideal candidate should be responsible, proactive, and capable of taking ownership of the day-to-day maintenance and operational support of systems at the client site.

Pay: ₹320,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
