- Manage day-to-day activities at the lake restoration site.
- Plan and monitor excavation, desilting and Prosopis removal activities.
- Coordinate excavators, JCBs, bulldozers, tractors, trucks and other equipment.
- Plan daily machine and manpower deployment.
- Monitor machine productivity and working hours.
- Coordinate removal, transportation and disposal/sale of Prosopis biomass.
- Ensure excavated material and biomass are handled according to the project plan.
- Monitor lake bund, feeder-channel and restoration activities.
- Coordinate survey and site measurement activities with the technical team.
- Track daily quantities of excavation, desilting and vegetation removal.
- Maintain Daily Progress Reports (DPR).
- Record manpower, machinery hours, fuel consumption and site expenses.
- Monitor project schedule and identify delays.
- Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors.
- Verify work completed against planned quantities.
- Ensure proper site safety practices.
- Coordinate with local authorities, Panchayat representatives and other stakeholders when required.
- Attend site meetings and provide project updates to management.
- Escalate site issues, equipment breakdowns, manpower shortages and other critical problems immediately.
- Maintain photographs, measurements and documentation of project progress.
- Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
- Support management in preparing progress reports and client/government submissions.

Requirements
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.




- 2–5 years of experience in construction, excavation, earthwork, irrigation, lake restoration, infrastructure or similar field projects.
- Experience managing heavy machinery and site manpower.
- Good understanding of excavation and earthwork operations.
- Solid site coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently at a remote project site.
- Willingness to travel and stay at the project location as required.
- Good knowledge of Excel and daily reporting.

Preferred Experience
- Lake restoration or water-body development.
- Irrigation projects.
- Earthwork and desilting.
- Government infrastructure projects.
- Excavation and vegetation-removal projects.
- Experience coordinating JCB/excavator operators, truck operators and labour teams.
- Experience working with Panchayats, government departments or contractors.

Key Performance Indicators The Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Daily project progress.
- Planned vs actual excavation quantities.
- Machinery productivity.
- Manpower productivity.
- Project schedule.
- Fuel and equipment utilisation.
- Site safety.
- Quality of execution.
- Daily documentation and reporting.
- Coordination between all field stakeholders.

Important This is a field-heavy role. The candidate should be comfortable spending most working days at the Kattikulam project site and managing operations directly rather than working primarily from an office.

Pay: ₹18,550.08 - ₹34,876.04 per month
