Role Description The Field Application Engineer – Instrumentation is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram. This role involves providing technical application support for scientific and environmental instrumentation, including installation, configuration, calibration, and commissioning at customer sites.

The engineer will conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and troubleshooting, ensuring instruments are correctly integrated into customer workflows and meet performance requirements. Daily responsibilities include working closely with sales teams on pre- and post-sales technical activities, preparing technical documentation,



and coordinating with manufacturers and internal teams to resolve issues. The role also requires regular field visits, accurate reporting of site activities, and proactive identification of opportunities to improve system performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

- Strong field applications and technical support skills for scientific, environmental, or laboratory instrumentation.
- Solid understanding of analog and electronics principles relevant to sensors, data loggers, and monitoring systems.
- Experience collaborating with sales teams, supporting pre-sales and post-sales activities, and engaging with customers professionally.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and specifications; familiarity with installation, calibration, and maintenance procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and diagnostic skills, with attention to detail and safety standards in field work.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to deliver training and create clear technical reports.
- Willingness to travel regularly to customer sites and work in outdoor or laboratory environments as needed.
- Previous experience in environmental monitoring, hydrology, agriculture, or similar research applications is an advantage.
