Designation: Fiber Engineer

Location: Berhampore, West Bengal

Salary: ₹28,000 – ₹35,000 per month, depending on experience

Joining: Immediate joiners preferred

Education

- Diploma or B.Tech in Electronics / Electrical Engineering
- Relevant technical certifications will be an added advantage.

Job Responsibilities

- Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Optical Fiber Cable (OFC) networks.
- Perform fiber splicing, termination, testing, and fault rectification.
- Conduct OTDR testing and analyze fiber-related faults.
- Identify and resolve fiber cuts, signal loss, and connectivity issues.
- Coordinate with field teams and ensure timely restoration of network issues.
- Maintain proper documentation of fiber routes, faults, and maintenance activities.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and ensure network availability.
- Follow safety procedures and technical standards during field operations.
- Coordinate with customers, vendors,



and internal teams as required.

Experience

- Candidates with relevant experience in OFC/Fiber Network, Telecom, FTTH, or ISP operations will be preferred.
- Freshers with relevant technical knowledge may also be considered.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of OFC, FTTH, fiber splicing, OTDR, power meter, and fiber testing.
- Basic understanding of telecom/ISP network architecture.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work in field locations.
- Positive communication and coordination skills.

Preference Immediate joiners will be preferred.
