Job Title Senior ANSYS Simulation Engineer Lead CAE Engineer Job Summary We are seeking an experienced ANSYS Engineer with 10+ years of expertise in Finite Element Analysis FEA, Computational Fluid Dynamics CFD, Multiphysics simulations, and product validation. The ideal candidate will lead simulation activities, develop advanced engineering models, analyze complex mechanical and thermal systems, and provide design recommendations to improve product performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
Key Responsibilities Perform advanced simulations using ANSYS Workbench, Mechanical, Fluent, CFX, LS-DYNA, Maxwell, or other ANSYS modules. Conduct structural, thermal, vibration, fatigue, nonlinear, and agile analyses. Develop and validate FE models based on engineering requirements and test data.
Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and testing teams to optimize product performance. Interpret simulation results and provide engineering recommendations. Lead root cause analysis and failure investigations.
Establish simulation methodologies, standards, and best practices. Mentor junior CAE engineers and review simulation reports. Automate simulation workflows using Python, APDL, or scripting tools. Support customer discussions, technical reviews, and project planning activities.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and engineering regulations.
Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related discipline. Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in ANSYS-based simulation and analysis.
Strong expertise in: Static and Dynamic Structural Analysis Nonlinear Analysis Fatigue and Fracture Mechanics Thermal Analysis CFD Analysis Multiphysics Simulations Proficiency in ANSYS Workbench, Mechanical APDL, Fluent, SpaceClaim, DesignModeler.
Experience with CAD tools such as CATIA, Creo, NX, or SolidWorks. Knowledge of engineering standards such as ASME, API, ISO, DNV, or aerospaceautomotive standards. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical reporting skills.
Preferred Skills Experience in automotive, aerospace, energy, heavy engineering, or industrial equipment domains. Knowledge of optimization techniques and Design for Reliability DfR. Hands-on experience with ANSYS customization, scripting, and process automation. Exposure to HPC High-Performance Computing environments.
Certification in ANSYS tools is an added advantage.
