ROLE OVERVIEW

Role Scope: Designed for a creative and technical Handbag Designer to own the design lifecycle from concept through 3D visualization, pattern review, and physical sampling; offering a high-impact environment to build complete leather and non-leather accessory lines for international markets as we scale.

Location & Work Mode: Full-time, in-office role based at our Chennai Center

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Collection Conceptualization: Design end-to-end luxury handbag collections for global markets, translating market trends, commercial requirements, and brand aesthetics into production-ready product lines.

Digital Design & 3D Visualization: Create detailed tech packs, flat specs, and 3D digital renders using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CLO3D.

Material & Hardware Selection: Evaluate and select appropriate materials including cow leather, goat leather, vegan alternatives, linings, structural reinforcements, and metal hardware.

Sampling & Prototyping Collaboration: Work directly with the sampling team to ensure 2D-3D-Real world products are all in sync.

Cross-Functional Feedback Integration: Incorporate structural, financial, and market feedback from management, prototyping teams,



testing panels, and Quality Control (QC) auditors into iterative design updates.

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education & Experience: Bachelors degree in Fashion Design, Leather Goods Design, or a related field with 2 to 4 years of hands-on handbag design experience (exceptional freshers with outstanding portfolios will also be evaluated).

Software Proficiency: Mandatory expertise in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; working knowledge or high familiarity with 3D garment/accessory software like CLO3D is highly desirable.

Material & Technical Foundation: Practical knowledge of natural leathers (goat, cow), synthetic/vegan materials, hardware, and foundational handbag pattern making.

Willingness to Learn (mandatory): Ability and willingness to learn new skills and tools in handbag and accessory design.
