Job Summary The Fabrication Supervisor oversees day-to-day shop floor operations, directing a team of fabricators, welders, and machine operators. This role ensures projects are completed on schedule, within design specifications, and in full compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Production Oversight: Plan, schedule, and assign daily workloads for cutting, bending, forming, fit-up, and welding operations to meet delivery deadlines.

- Technical Guidance: Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and weld symbols (WPS) to guide fabricators through complex assemblies.

- Quality Assurance: Inspect in-process and finished assemblies for dimensional accuracy and weld integrity; ensure adherence to ASME, AWS, or project-specific standards.

- Safety & Compliance: Enforce OSHA regulations, site-specific safety protocols,



tool-box talks, and proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) usage across the shop floor.

- Equipment & Inventory Maintenance: Oversee preventive maintenance schedules for shop equipment (CNC plasma/laser cutters, press brakes, welding rigs) and monitor raw material stock (sheets, structural shapes, consumables).

- Team Leadership: Track crew performance, conduct hands-on training, resolve shop floor bottlenecks, and manage timekeeping and attendance.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Experience: 10+ years in metal fabrication/marine fabrication or structural steel manufacturing
