ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manage end-to-end export operations from India to Nigeria and Ethiopia, including machinery, spare parts, equipment, and other materials.
- Coordinate with overseas units to understand, consolidate, and prioritize procurement requirements based on production needs, urgency, budget, and lead time.
- Prepare and manage export documentation, including Proforma Invoices, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Shipping Documents, and related records.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs agents, logistics partners, finance teams, and commercial teams for smooth and timely shipments.
- Monitor shipment schedules, dispatches, documentation, delivery timelines, and export payments, including LC/TT transactions.
- Handle technical procurement of Injection Moulding Machines, Plastic Processing Machinery, Pipes, Dies/Moulds, auxiliary equipment, spare parts, and related technical items.
- Understand technical specifications, machine capacities, configurations, drawings, and application requirements.
- Identify and evaluate suitable domestic and international manufacturers and suppliers.
- Obtain and compare technical and commercial quotations and prepare comparative statements.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties, and other commercial conditions.
- Recommend purchases based on quality, price, technical suitability, and delivery timelines.
- Coordinate machine manufacturing, inspection, dispatch, installation support, and commissioning wherever required.
- Develop and maintain a strong vendor network for machinery, pipes, components, electrical items, spares, and other technical requirements.
- Evaluate suppliers based on quality, pricing, delivery performance, technical capability, and after-sales support.
- Monitor vendor performance and resolve quality, delivery, and commercial issues.
- Analyse total procurement costs, including transportation, freight, duties, and associated expenses.




- Identify cost-saving opportunities and alternate sourcing options while maintaining approved specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain purchase budgets and provide regular cost and procurement updates to management.
- Prepare MIS reports covering purchase orders, pending purchases, export shipments, supplier status, machinery procurement, spare parts procurement, delivery schedules, and cost savings.

• Escalate critical procurement, logistics, and supply issues to management in a timely manner.

PREFERRED CANDIDATES
- 5-10+ years of relevant experience in Export Management, International Purchase, Technical Procurement, or a similar role.
- Solid hands-on experience in purchase and export operations.
- Strong knowledge of Injection Moulding Machines and Plastic Processing Machinery is highly preferred.
- Experience in Plastic Pipes, Pipe Manufacturing Machinery, or related equipment will be an added advantage.
- Strong technical understanding of industrial machinery, specifications, components, spares, and equipment.
- Proven experience in vendor development, supplier management, quotation analysis, commercial negotiation, and machinery sourcing.
- Good understanding of export documentation, international logistics, freight forwarding, and international shipments.
- Experience dealing with Indian as well as overseas manufacturers and suppliers.
- Strong communication, coordination, analytical, negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple procurement and export requirements simultaneously.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP/Purchasing Software, and MS Office applications.
- Candidates preferably from Plastic Manufacturing, Injection Moulding, Plastic Pipes & Fittings, Plastic Processing Machinery, Industrial Machinery, Engineering Equipment, Manufacturing & Export, or Technical Procurement industries.
