Role Description:

The Executive Exim role is a full time, on-site position based in Chennai. This role is responsible for managing export and import operations, including documentation, coordination with freight forwarders, customs clearance, and compliance with international trade regulations.

Exim will monitor shipment schedules, track consignments, and ensure timely delivery of medical devices to global markets. The role involves close collaboration with internal teams such as production, quality, and finance to align logistics with business requirements and regulatory standards.

Exim will also maintain accurate records, prepare reports on export-import activities, and support continuous process improvements in supply chain and trade operations.

Qualifications:

- Strong knowledge of export-import procedures, documentation, and customs regulations.
- Experience coordinating with logistics partners, freight forwarders, and regulatory authorities.
- Proficiency in using MS Office and ERP or similar systems for tracking shipments and maintaining records.
- Understanding of medical devices or healthcare industry operations is an advantage.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce, business administration, logistics, or a related field; relevant certifications in EXIM or international trade are a plus.
- Ability to work on-site in Chennai and adhere to compliance, quality, and safety standards.

Experience: Should have proven experience of 3-4 years in import/export, customs clearance and handling, logistics & supply chain management, vendor management, etc.
